Tabby - Orange - Pumpkin (declawed & Neutered) - In Foster Care
"Pumpkin" is a handsome adult male Orange Tabby kitty who arrived at the HSOV on Augsut 12, xxxx in a very sad way :( Someone had placed him in front of our garage inside a nice big padded carrier during the late night/early morning hours along with a package of insulin. There was no note or any information about him, but we naturally assumed he was diabetic and took him to one of our wonderful local veterinarians that same day. "Pumpkin" is indeed diabetic and requires insulin injections which we have purchased (the insulin which was left un-refrigerated with him had to be discarded). "Pumpkin" has a orange tabby coat with a white chest, white paws, a long tail, and a darling face with tiny ear tufts. He is a frightened guy at the moment (who could blame him). "Pumpkin" has already been neutered, and he is also declawed. He is a large cat who weighs over 16 lbs. We would love to find a foster home for "Pumpkin" with someone who could give him the extra care that he requires and would have the ability to give him the insulin injections (either once/twice a day). Or better yet .. an adopted permanent home UPDATE: "Pumpkin" found a fantastic foster home on August 16th!!
